Recycled Water

Ironhouse first opened the Residential Recycled Water Fill Station in June 2015 to help aide in California's drought emergency. From June 2015 to December 2015 Ironhouse gave away more than 10 million gallons of recycled water to local residents and for dust control on the Highway 4 expansion project.

The Residential Recycled Water Fill Station

The Residential Recycled Water Fill Station, located near Ironhouse’s Main Office at its headquarters in Oakley, provides FREE recycled water to Ironhouse Sanitary District ratepayers in Oakley and Bethel Island for irrigating plants, trees, and gardens.

Because conserving potable water is always a priority in California, Ironhouse Sanitary District will continue to offer FREE recycled water to ISD ratepayers through the Residential Recycled Water Fill Station. This program helps save valuable drinking water and money while keeping lawns, trees, and landscapes healthy and green.
